Precautions for using infrared thermometer

Infrared thermometers are popular with everyone because of their convenient, fast and safe characteristics, but in actual use, there are often large errors in the measurement results. This is mainly due to improper use of the thermometer. The following as a professional infrared thermometer manufacturer will explain the precautions for using infrared thermometers.
1. From the person responsible for the measurement, the first is that the infrared thermometer and the forehead cannot be too far away, otherwise the infrared radiation energy that the infrared detector of the thermometer can collect will become smaller, which will affect the measurement result. . The ideal situation is about 5cm to 8cm from the forehead.
2. The infrared temperature measuring gun needs to be vertical to the forehead as much as possible, so as to ensure that the collected infrared radiation energy is emitted from the target measurement area.
3. It is related to the forehead, because the temperature of the forehead exposed to cold air will be lower than the actual body temperature.
4. Do not let the infrared thermometer be in an environment where the temperature difference is 20 degrees or higher, otherwise the measured data will be inaccurate. As the measured ones, we can also avoid strenuous exercise or eating too hot or cold things within 20 minutes to half an hour before the measurement, so that the measurement results are as accurate as possible.
In general, although infrared thermometers are not as accurate as mercury thermometers, they have obvious advantages in convenience, and as long as they are used properly, their measurement results can be adopted.
